Refund Policy

We want you to be confident buying State6 Prep. This policy sets out clearly when you can get a refund and how to request one.

1. Digital Products and UK Consumer Law

State6 Prep is a digital service. Under UK consumer law (the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. However, when you purchase State6 Prep and access the platform immediately, you acknowledge that the digital service has begun and your statutory right to cancel is waived, as permitted by law. We have chosen to offer a discretionary refund period above the minimum required by law because we believe in the product and want you to as well.

2. Our Refund Commitment

We will offer a full refund if: you request a refund within 14 days of purchase, and you have used fewer than 3 AI Coaching credits and no Mock Board credits. If you have used 3 or more AI Coaching credits, convened a Mock Board, or more than 14 days have passed since purchase, we will not ordinarily issue a refund. This is because the core value of the platform has been accessed.

3. Exceptions — When We Will Always Refund

  • The platform experienced a verified technical outage that materially prevented you from using core features for a significant portion of your access period, through no fault on your part.
  • A technical error on our side resulted in you being charged more than once.
  • You were charged the wrong amount due to a pricing error on our part.
  • There is a verified technical fault that prevents you from accessing core features.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email us at hello@state6.co.uk with: the email address used to purchase, your order reference number (found in your Stripe receipt), and the reason for your refund request. We aim to respond within 2 working days. If your refund is approved, it will be returned to your original payment method within 5–10 working days via Stripe.

5. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds for unused time within an access period.
