Gloucestershire Constabulary was inspected in 2025 as part of the PEEL 2025-27 cycle. The HM Inspector expressed significant concerns about the constabulary's management and crime investigation performance, noting improvement in only one area since the previous inspection.

Police and Crime Prevention Plan 2025 to 2029

Set by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gloucestershire. The statutory Police and Crime Plan for the area is published under the name Police and Crime Prevention Plan. Stated aim: Making our communities safer, so that you feel safer.

What this means for your board
